The Windmill Tavern stands in the centre of the village of East Hanningfield. Built towards the end of the 17th century the pub has remained a popular watering hole for both locals and visitors alike.
From the bar you can enjoy all the well known brand name beers and lagers along with a choice of 'real ales' such as Greene King IPA, Courage Best and Crouch Vale Brewers Gold.
 

We offer a traditional menu, using mainly local produce and game when available.
Our small intimate restaurant is open Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday lunchtimes, when we offer a traditional roast dinner for £6.95 for one course in addition to our daily specials.
 

If you'd like to hold a small private party in the restaurant we'll be happy to discuss your particular requirements. There's a large enclosed 'beer garden' where customers with children can relax and let the kids play in complete safety.
On the social scene we hold a 'Quiz Night' every Wednesday evening and we'll be pleased to see you. The pub has an active 'Golf Society' which plays venues throughout East Anglia during the year.
